Water Quality Information System (WQIS)
NIWA's Water Quality Information System (WQIS) holds data and metadata on a range of common water quality indicators.
Public data is available directly through a searchable web portal, while private data is available with an log-in account.
WQIS includes a a list of pre-set common searches, a map view to search for data in a geographic area, and customisable searches.
WQIS is offered as a nationally available resource for the New Zealand public, institutions and companies who need access to a well-maintained long-term data repository. If you wish to store your data in WQIS, please contact NIWA.
